Depending on how you use our website and services, we may collect information that you provide, including:

• Vehicle information

• Communications you send to KeyDrop Ontario
• Information reasonably required to verify and complete a vehicle handoff

We aim to collect only information reasonably required to provide, administer, and support the requested service.

2. How We Use Information

Personal information may be used to:

• Create and manage bookings
• Coordinate vehicle pickup and delivery
• Communicate booking confirmations and status updates
• Verify booking and vehicle handoff information
• Provide customer support
• Maintain appropriate business and transaction records
• Help protect customers, vehicles, and the integrity of the booking process
• Meet applicable legal, security, and insurance-related requirements

Personal information will not be used for unrelated purposes without appropriate consent unless permitted or required by law.

3. Service Providers

KeyDrop Ontario may use third-party service providers to support website hosting, communications, booking, payment processing, or other business functions.

Personal information should only be shared with service providers to the extent reasonably necessary for them to provide those services, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

4. Payment Information

If online payment processing is enabled, payment information must be processed through the payment provider used by KeyDrop Ontario.

5. Safeguarding Personal Information

KeyDrop Ontario uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the information being handled to help protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, loss, or alteration.

6. Retention

Personal information should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to satisfy applicable legal and business requirements. Information should then be securely deleted or anonymized where appropriate.

7. Access and Correction

Customers may contact KeyDrop Ontario to request access to their personal information or request correction of inaccurate information, subject to applicable law.

Questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy or KeyDrop Ontario’s handling of personal information can be submitted using the contact information provided on the Contact page.

9. Mobile App, Account and Location Information

If you use the KeyDrop Ontario mobile app or customer account, the following information is handled:

• Account information: your email address and the name and phone number you choose to save, used to sign you in and link your bookings to your account.
• Booking information: pickup and destination addresses you select, appointment details, vehicle details, service type, measured trip distance and booking status.
• Address search: the addresses or business names you type are sent to our mapping provider to return suggestions and to measure the driving route used for pricing.
• Location and GPS data: while your vehicle is actually being driven by an authorized KeyDrop Ontario driver, the driver’s device shares the vehicle’s location so you can follow it in the app. The customer app does not track the customer’s own device location, and no background location is collected.
• Payment processing: online payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s secure payment page and are not stored by KeyDrop Ontario.
• Service communications: booking confirmations, status updates and support replies sent by email, text message or in-app notification.

10. Account Deletion

You can delete your KeyDrop Ontario customer account at any time from the Account area of the app or website, or by contacting us using the Contact page. Deleting your account removes your saved profile information (name, phone number) and your sign-in credentials, and unlinks your past bookings from your account.

Deletion cannot be completed while a booking is still in progress. Completed booking and payment records are retained in our business and transaction records as required for legal, tax, insurance and accounting purposes, and are no longer linked to a sign-in account.
